We are committed to delivering organised and relevant instruction that helps students develop a strong foundation for professional healthcare service.
We promote honesty, accountability, ethical conduct and respect throughout the academic and professional development of our students.
Our teaching approach includes classroom instruction, demonstrations, practical activities and supervised professional exposure where applicable.
Our students receive instruction and guidance from lecturers and professionals with relevant academic and practical experience.
We work to provide students with the academic guidance, administrative support and personal discipline required to succeed in their programmes.
We encourage students to see healthcare as both a profession and an opportunity to improve the wellbeing of individuals, families and communities.
Pilar College of Health Technology is a private tertiary health-training institution established to prepare competent, disciplined and ethically grounded healthcare personnel for service in Nigeria’s health sector.
The college was founded by Pastor (Dr.) Emmanuel T. Oluwayemi and began operations in September 2013 as Life Builders College of Health Technology.
On 4 February 2019, the institution relocated from its former campus in Igbusi, Ogun State, to its Alakuko campus in Lagos State. In September 2019, the institution adopted the name Pilar College of Health Technology as part of its development as a distinct tertiary institution.
Since its establishment, the college has remained committed to combining academic instruction, practical training, ethical formation and service-oriented education. Students are encouraged to develop professional competence, personal discipline, compassion and a strong sense of responsibility to the communities they serve.
To be a pacesetter among tertiary health-training institutions in Nigeria, recognised for producing competent, efficient and God-fearing healthcare professionals who contribute to holistic healthcare delivery.
Pilar College of Health Technology exists to train competent and godly men and women through sound academic instruction, practical training, ethical formation and exposure to quality healthcare delivery, enabling them to provide professional, holistic and accessible health services.
We believe that effective healthcare education should develop knowledge, practical competence, ethical behaviour and compassion. Our students are therefore encouraged to connect classroom learning with practical application while respecting professional standards and the dignity of every individual.
